A/U Ranches

The A/U Ranches is the cornerstone of our programming that has been changing the lives of youth, adults, and families since 1955. Today, the practical and effective application of Christian Science is as much a part of our mission as it was under the leadership of Adventure Unlimited's founders, John “Cap” and Marianne Andrews.

I’m grateful for all the new memories that I now share with my classmates, and I know that this trip has brought my class and I closer, and it’s thanks to you that I could experience it.

Serving Youth, Adults, and Families

Located in Buena Vista, Colorado, the A/U Ranches is a timeless treasure. Thousands of youth, families, and friends who appreciate a Christian Science atmosphere take part in programs here every year, challenging themselves to grow individually and spiritually.

The A/U Ranches is nestled at the base of the Collegiate Peaks in the Colorado Rockies. Our 1,600 acres are home to two camp facilities: Sky Valley Ranch for 2nd- to 8th-graders and Round-Up Ranch for high school-aged participants. Multiple Youth Camp sessions are offered during the summer months, and Adult and All Ages programs are offered year round.

During all four seasons, the A/U Ranches is home to the 100 Elk Outdoor Center, an outdoor education program that serves the public.
