New Director of Development: Joshua Sprague
Adventure Unlimited is thrilled to welcome Joshua Sprague on board as the new director of development and donor engagement. Joshua is joining a highly effective team to accomplish all of the organization’s growing fundraising goals.
Joshua was hired as part of a strategy to take Adventure Unlimited’s fundraising work to a new level to best serve our constituents. As a result, the Adventure Unlimited Foundation is now the Development department, in alignment with common practices in other nonprofit organizations.
Rob Blackwell, previously the Adventure Unlimited Foundation president, remains an essential part of the fundraising team and is now solely focused on cultivating donor relationships as a senior philanthropic advisor.
Joshua joins our team after a career with Principia College as a student affairs administrator and, most recently, a real estate professional, where he built deep and trusted relationships. He has strong connections within the Christian Science movement and is excited about our mission and purpose.
In fact, Joshua has seen the firsthand impact of this mission as a current DiscoveryBound National Leadership Council class leader. “I’m looking forward to making a difference in a cause that’s larger than myself,” he says. “I’m excited to be sharing an opportunity with others to make a real difference in something that’s important to them.”
He enjoys outdoor activities, reading about history and hanging out with his wife, Ellen, and dog, Bader.
Joshua would love to get to know you! Reach out with an email or call (888.416.7348 x110) to let him know what’s meaningful to you and how you might want to make a difference for Adventure Unlimited.
