Making Way for the New Hub

The A/U Ranches are buzzing with the exciting news: First steps have been taken to construct a new administrative building to replace the much-loved Hub.

The new Hub will be located near the current Hub, where the sport court and Sky Valley lake house existed for many years. The courts and lake house were recently demolished, making way for the new 4,420-square-foot, energy-efficient building. The new Hub will be important for providing adequate office space to the 11 staff members who work in it and also for welcoming guests and program participants.

Generous donors – including Anabeth Cox, Warren Clinton and an anonymous funder – helped secure the $1 million needed to make the new structure possible.

Alumni who fondly remember the Hub can be a part of the new building in a couple of ways:

    • Buy a commemorative brick, which will pave the walkway and patio at the new Hub.

    • Help furnish and landscape the new Hub or repurpose the existing Hub. Any gift makes a difference! For those wanting to extend their impact with a donation of $25,000 or more to this fund, a handmade commemorative Adirondack chair will be engraved in your honor and embedded with a special A/U Ranches medallion. Left to raise: $189,500
