Have you ever taken a trip, and although you expected it to be fun, it actually changed the trajectory of your life? This happened for my aunt, Anabeth Cox. In this interview, Aunt A.B. (my name for her) shares how her first visit to the A/U Ranches in the summer of 1990 changed her life, not to mention her engagement with the organization.

While face-to-face events have decreased, DiscoveryBound (DB) Outreach virtual events, like so many activities over the past year, have grown significantly. From inspiring talks to social networking events, thousands of participants across the globe have been coming together to make meaningful connections.
“In these strange times where we all feel isolated, I was so grateful for this bubble of joy and laughter, where we could come together and express the dominion of Love,” says one 20s/30s participant.
This year has been like no other for Adventure Unlimited, but one thing is clear: While the format looks different, we are still finding new opportunities to open windows to God. We are grateful for the ways in which prayer has enriched our experiences both in serving new communities, like nearby Leadville, and serving our traditional constituency in new ways.
The joy of feeling inspired and connecting with peers in the Christian Science community during the DiscoveryBound Outreach trip to Los Angeles over Labor Day weekend was echoed by participants and chaperones alike.

Investments in the future of Adventure Unlimited through its Bridges to the Future Campaign have now reached 98% of the $16.5 million goal. In particular, progress has been made in two areas at the A/U Ranches and in DiscoveryBound.
An NLC Graduate Award has been made available to all DiscoveryBound (DB) National Leadership Council (NLC) graduates “in good standing” to the school of their choice for the 2019-2020 school year.
