Adult Programs
G’day alumni! There’s great news for everyone: Adventure Unlimited’s focus on 20s/30s has progressed from the Young Adult Research conducted in 2017 to implementing its findings through the creation of the DiscoveryBound Young Adult Manager position and so much more. What does it look like when you combine a TMC College Summit, a DiscoveryBound (DB) Outreach National Annual event, and a DiscoveryBound Compass fall retreat in Boston? Christian Scientists from all over the country gathering in one location to see and hear firsthand from staff at The Mother Church, Longyear Museum and, most importantly, each other!
“This was a great time, like coming home again – a great meeting with old friends and making new ones,” says alumnus Don Gregory. “I saw firsthand how well the horse program has been improved and upgraded. What’s it like to be an adult at a DiscoveryBound (DB) Outreach weekend event? “It was a wonderful and uplifting experience,” one adult participant says. “I never once felt left out of my group due to my age. People were bringing me outside of my comfort zone.”

It’s time to get outdoors! Join us at an A/U Ranches or DiscoveryBound program, share what’s going on with the young people you know, find a job, and get in touch with other A/U-DB alumni. There are so many ways to connect with the organization and people you love. Youth…
In this recurring column, alumni of the A/U Ranches and DiscoveryBound programs (including the formerly named A/U Chapters) share why they’ve stayed involved or reconnected with Adventure Unlimited and its programs. We’ve all heard it or said it: “I’m sooo busy!” While the pace of daily schedules can seem to…
